Each session takes place in a warm and welcoming setting : You will be welcomed by a passionate sommelier, guided through France's great wine regions and immersed in the friendly atmosphere of our wine bar. The tastings are designed to be engaging and tailored to you, combining theory and practice (the importance of terroir, grape varieties, tasting techniques) to ensure a unique experience that is accessible to everyone.
A friendly and professional experience
Our workshops are led by passionate sommeliers in an atmosphere that is both friendly and relaxed. You'll taste in a small group or even on your own, while sharing mixed platters of charcuterie and cheeses sourced from French wine regions. Each wine is explained in an accessible way: the aim isn't to become an “ expert ” but to enjoy yourself, awaken your senses and learn the language of wine. Our hosts tailor their explanations to your level to make the tasting fun and enriching. At the end of the workshop, you'll leave not only knowing how to describe a wine's acidity, tannins or finish, but also with the favourites you can buy on-site.
A journey through the heart of France's wine regions
The tasting is designed as a true sensory journey through France's wine regions . Our wine selection covers the full range of iconic grape varieties: from Champagne (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) to Bordeaux (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), as well as Burgundy (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay), the Rhône Valley (Syrah, Grenache), the Loire Valley (Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin) and Provence (Grenache, Cinsault). At each stop, the sommelier introduces the aromas and characteristics of each wine, explaining the richness of the terroir and the history of each appellation. This workshop is an opportunity to identify key grape varieties, understand how climate and soil influence wine, and taste wines that represent each region. The commentary highlights the diversity of French wines and helps you refine your preferences.
Practical information
- Open to everyone: Our tastings are open to curious beginners, knowledgeable enthusiasts and even professionals looking to deepen their expertise. No prior knowledge is required: our hosts tailor each workshop to all levels, making wine accessible to everyone.
- Workshop details: Each session lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours and includes a tasting of 4 to 6 selected French wines. The wines are served with regional platters (aged cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, tapas, etc.) that bring out the best in food and wine pairings.
- Booking: Places are limited, especially on weekends, so book as soon as possible to secure your spot.
- Gifts & gift cards: Our tastings can be given as a gift card—an original gift idea for a birthday, holiday or corporate occasion. Recipients can choose the workshop and date that suit them best.

Super moment passé à la cave du canal. On cherchait un endroit où se poser facilement pour boire un verre, déguster du vin de qualité et une petite planche et on n'a pas été déçu. Super bien reçu par Aram, qui nous a présenté tous ses vins, et on a passé un très bon moment à la fois avec les serveurs et les autres clients. Je conseille à tout le monde.
My wife and I booked this wine tasting- best one we have ever gone to! The knowledge and expertise was fantastic. We had Ben and was very nice and spoke English very well. The wines were delicious and the pairings with cheese and meats were perfect! A must! We enjoyed it so much we stayed and had a bottle of wine!

It was a personal wine tasting, where the guide explained to my sister and me everything about around 5 wines. We learned where they are from, how you can tell what the Color means and the smell. The guide spoke great English and he was a really cool guy. The snacks were awesome as well and we got to experience what to eat with which wine.

Booked at wine tasting evening here and it was so much fun! The guy was really good and very informative of his wines, which were really tasty, came with a little food board to see which foods go with which wines. Very nice indeed!
