La Balade de la Pointe is the second wine of Château La Pointe, one of the emblematic properties of the Pomerol appellation. Made mainly from Merlot, it seduces with its roundness and generous aromas of black fruits, sweet spices and undergrowth. On the palate, it offers a beautiful suppleness, silky tannins and an elegance typical of the great wines of the Right Bank. Accessible in its youth, it is a pleasure-filled Pomerol, to be enjoyed now or after a few years of aging.

This wine was a true revelation. It combines power and finesse, with impeccable structure. You can tell it's a carefully crafted wine. It more than held its own against a great vintage I had in my cellar. Unbeatable value for money.
